Privacy policy

The short version

  • We collect what you enter to build and show your plan, and nothing more than we need.
  • We never use your guest list for marketing and we do not sell personal information.
  • Guest names and contact details are not sent to the AI provider.
  • You can export everything or delete your account and its data at any time, from the Account page.

1. Who is responsible

My Wedding Plan is operated by Insight Agência de Marketing LTDA (CNPJ 54.884.128/0001-94), established in Brazil. For privacy questions or requests, write to privacy@myweddingplan.online.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your email address.
  • Wedding details you enter: names, date, city and state, budget, guest count, wedding type.
  • Your plan: tasks, budget categories and expenses, contributions, vendors and their contact details, wedding-day schedule, checklists, other events and your gift registry.
  • Wedding party: names and, if you add them, phone, email and notes. Like the guest list, these are other people's details that you choose to enter.
  • Guest list: names and, if you add them, email, phone, mailing address, RSVP, dietary needs, table, gifts and notes. These are other people's details that you choose to enter.
  • Assistant conversations: the messages you send and the replies.
  • Purchase records: that a payment was made, its amount and the payment provider's reference. We do not receive or store your card number.
  • Free tools: if you ask us to email a budget breakdown or checklist, your email address and the budget and guest count you typed.
  • Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used for security and to limit abuse, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

3. Why we use it

  • To provide the kit: build your plan, show it to you, create your PDFs and spreadsheets.
  • To answer your questions through the AI assistant.
  • To send service emails, such as your sign-in link.
  • To send the free PDF you asked for and a short series of follow-up emails about My Wedding Plan, only if you ticked the box. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

4. The AI assistant

When you send a message to the assistant, we send that message, recent messages from the same conversation and a summary of your plan to our AI provider, Anthropic, so that it can write a reply. The summary includes your first names, wedding date, city and state, budget figures, open tasks, vendor names and amounts, and counts of guests by RSVP status.

It does not include your guests' or wedding party's names, emails, phone numbers or addresses, the names of people who gave gifts, or your email address.

If you do not want this, do not use the assistant. The rest of the kit works without it.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run My Wedding Plan, and only for that purpose:

  • Hotmart: payment processing, as Merchant of Record.
  • Anthropic: AI replies, as described above.
  • Our email delivery provider: sending sign-in links and the emails you asked for.
  • Our hosting and error-monitoring providers: running and securing the service.

Sharing your gift registry

Your gift registry is private unless you turn on its sharing link. Anyone who has that link can then see the gifts you listed, the stores, links and prices you entered, how many of each are still wanted, your first names and your message to guests. The link does not show who gave what, your notes or anything else from your plan, and the page is not listed in search engines. Turning sharing off disables the link immediately.

6. What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not contact your guests or vendors, and we do not use their details for any marketing.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account and plan until you delete them. Deleting your account from the Account page permanently removes your wedding details, tasks, budget, guest list, vendors and conversations from our systems. Backups, if any, are overwritten on their normal cycle.

The payment provider keeps its own transaction records as the law requires. If you unsubscribe from emails, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Export: download all your data as a file from the Account page.
  • Delete: delete your account and all its data from the Account page.
  • Correct: edit anything in your plan at any time.
  • Unsubscribe: use the link in any marketing email.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state privacy law, such as the right to know, correct and delete, and not to be discriminated against for using those rights. Write to privacy@myweddingplan.online and we will answer.

9. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Children

My Wedding Plan is for adults planning a wedding. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Where data is processed

The company is established in Brazil and uses service providers that may process data in the United States and other countries.

12. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you by email or inside the kit.
